Decoding Figaro's secret & the reason why we keep on coming back.

                 

My over hundred followers on my IG account (@psychvlad) would probably wonder why I keep on posting photos of delicious foods that I've tasted (and in this case, I've captured) from Figaro on my page wall.  And I guess they would also think and ask  within themselves what it is with Figaro that I keep on coming back? Aside from the fact that all of their foods are Instagram perfect, my answer is simple, because it is like a Narnia, a wonderland and a paradise for foodies like me. How do I say so?  Here, let me tell you. 

Here with me, my colleague & friend Mereil (@heyitsmegh) at theEdsa-Shangrila mall branch . We are talking non-stop while enjoying the gigantic serving of delectable foods in Figaro.

A former colleague of mine invited me for dine out to have our craving for latest gossips satisfied. Since it has been a long time we last exchanged rumors , we made sure that our meet up would be extra special than usual. She suggested to give Figaro a try and so we ended up sitting in their cozy place situated at the class A mall along EDSA. Admittedly, when I heard the name I thought that it was kinda type of fancy resto which might ruined our budget we had for the day and I was afraid that we might only get less satisfaction from their servings than what we paid for.  There was an apparent hesitation on my part to get in and my feet would like to step out wanting to head off to other places with budget friendly yet reasonable serving - I guess practical people would agree with me on this. 

I couldn't blame myself for having such an overwhelming feeling because it was the first time I stepped my foot in this expensive looking food hub. But I couldn't forgive myself for mistakenly overestimated it and didn't find out that the foods were actually worthy of bucks.

Well anyway,  we gave Figaro the benefit of the doubt not just to refrain from exaggerating my estimation, but to see how far this restaurant exceeds our expectations as best place to eat. So we went in, sat down, and looked over the menu to check out what this resto has to offer.  I was quite impressed by how the selection of their foods and specialities were property listed, and as I eyed on the price, I said that it was actually affordable and reasonable. So I thought that it was the perfect venue for our over-planned meet up. 

The payment method in Figaro, for everyone's information, is of 'Pay as you order' scheme. It is like you're ordering in a typical fast food chain but without exerting much effort to stand on a long queue & to wait impatiently. They will serve your order right on your table without getting stressed out for the Bill Check to come later on, no need for where's-my bill- I'll pay now- sign language.  -the usual gesture we do after we finished our meal in a restaurant. 

This is, I guess, a great idea since the location is open to all mall goers. All you need to do is to choose any delectable foods listed on their menu that you wish to order, and pay for it at the counter right there and then. 

For its manageable food service process, It is dubbed as forbidden place for those whose favorite game is eat and go. They'll better be warned. This is not the type of resto that they can mess up with.

This thirst-satisfying Lemon tea is a supplementary when you avail any of the selected dishes using their discount coupon.

The Wikipedia entry of Figaro reads:  " it is initially started as a coffeeshop  transformed into food chain business . They offer fine meals, parties and desserts . All their outlets tend to have a European-styled ambiance And owned by a group of college friends that was started since 1993. In early 2000, it was acquired by a family of businessmen and later on it branched out with over 50 outlets nationwide. "

Pepperoni Pizza serves with big cut of meat and overloaded cheese. A complete tummy-filled must try.

I scanned through the menu from cover to cover to know basically what was seemed to me more appetizing, cause I really wanted to make the most out of the food that I eat. And choosing the satisfaction to what you pay for needs extra care.I was kinda surprised  because the foods were absolutely thumbs up for heavy eater like me. The food variations were overwhelming, it  means there were lot to choose from.  And what I love about  it, they really served colossal meals which can be enjoyed by two or more hungry persons. So needless to say, it is a highly recommended venue for those on a stress eating mode, get together and  convo over meal kind of gathering. because , like what we have experienced, you'll really get more than what you pay for. 

Figaro offers most of Italian kind of dishes  such as pasta, pizza, and salad.  which, in all fairness, are flavorful. I included here the photos of all these mouthwatering dishes  that we have tasted, plus The price list & my personal reviews to each of those so you'll be guided and will give you some heads up of what to order when you pay Figaro a visit.

Here are some of the best selling fine dine meals that you must try in Figaro: Tuna and cheese sandwich partnered with cold bottomless iced tea are perfect combo to fulfill your hungry stomach. Another must try are their range of pizza and pasta servings.

Overall, Figaro is a one stop place for all your food cravings from appetizer  to the last bite of desserts. Interior and ambiance wise, it won't disappoint you, in fact, it lets you feel like you are in the cozy European place where you can enjoy every dish you indulging with.  When it comes to price range, it won't create any hole in your pocket. Everything is satisfaction guaranteed.  On our second meet up we also tried their other best selling dishes. And again, Figaro didn't disappoint us. We had experienced another moment with good foods and great conversations.  Surely, we will be back more often to Figaro. Now that we already decoded its delicious secret.
